Sculptra

Sculptra™  is a safe, synthetic, and biocompatible material that is injected below the surface of the skin to correct the effects of fat loss and natural age-related bone loss. Sculptra™ is an injectable volumizing treatment that stimulates the build up of the body’s own collagen to smooth out lines and wrinkles and restore lost facial volume to give you a fuller, younger-looking face. Sunken cheeks, temple indentations, and hollows under the eyes regain lost volume over time by Sculptra's ability to promote production of your body's natural collagen in the treated areas. This process of natural-restructure of the skin continues long after the course of treatment has been completed.

The Sculptra™ filler provides up to 80 percent improvement in the treated areas. It produces results that are fully evident in three to six treatment sessions and lasts up to two years.  Improvement in contour occurs gradually over two to six months, an advantage for those people wishing to avoid the obvious tell-tale overnight change in appearance of cosmetic surgery.

There is no downtime with Sculptra™ treatments. Temporary bruising and swelling may occur and typically resolve over a few days. Sculptra™ can be used with Botox Cosmetic Injections, temporary injectable fillers (such as Radiesse or Juvederm), and in people who have had facelifts and need a restoration of facial volume.
